Smoked Sausages



  1. Lay the sausages of your choice in your basket – beef, venison, chicken or pork.
  2. Set up your smoker – fill the bottom cup with methylated spirits.
  3. Add a small handful of UFO Pohutukawa or Manuka Smoking Dust into the top shallow cup.
  4. Place your basket of sausages into the smoker and light the meths.
  5. Leave to smoke until all the methylated spirits has dissipated (about 20 minutes), and then leave to stand for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove your sausages and plate as required.

Recipe Notes

Option: A nice healthy way to eat your hot dogs! Add some salsa and some wholemeal bread slices for a divine, healthy, tasy meal for the whole family!
